Project Overview
Woodbridge Township has been a client of T&M for 20+ years. This project, Up Smith’s Creek, is a multi-feature waterfront community that will require multiple design and construction phases to achieve Woodbridge’s goal. These efforts include both in-water and waterfront design and permitting efforts. The following features have been identified as key to the success of this project: dredging of the marina basin, reconstruction of the majority of the bulkheads and docks, fish market, tiki-bar, passive walking/jogging path, boat storage and dog park. Additionally, to support these features, the site will further be developed to include parking and roadway improvements, lighting, landscaping, stormwater facilities and utility infrastructure.
The project location is across from a County Park. As a separate project, and due to our relationship with both the Township and the County, our Transportation practice will also provide design services to build a bridge connecting the park and the expanded marina for the County of Middlesex.
