T&M Project Receives ACEC-Ohio Engineering Excellence Award

We are proud to announce that the City of Columbus, Department of Public Utilities, Division of Water’s Lockbourne Road Quarry Embankment Improvement Project has been selected as a recipient of The American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC)’s Ohio Engineering Excellence Award! The goal of this project was to reestablish a bank of Big Walnut Creek that eroded into a quarry. The project consisted of hauling more than 25,000 tons of fill material to rebuild the eroded bank and using sheet piling, permanent erosion protection, vegetation, and a dissipator pool to impede future erosion of the bank. T&M provided Construction Management services for this important project.
