T&M Can Help Estimate Your Public Water System’s PFAS Settlement

April 16, 2024
The window to submit for your maximum settlement will soon close. It’s important to understand that such settlements can vary widely depending on the circumstances of each case.
Putative members of the Settlement Classes can calculate estimated allocation amounts for each of their Impacted Water Sources (groundwater well or surface water system with PFAS contamination) using the 3M and DuPont Entities Public Water Provider Settlement Estimated Allocation Range Tables linked in this post. These tables allow members of the Settlement Classes to access an estimate for any Impacted Water Source. The estimated ranges of allocated amounts are based on the two factors most relevant to the calculation of PFAS treatment cost – flow rates and PFAS concentration levels – which are reflected as Adjusted Flow Rates and PFAS Scores, respectively. For more information about the settlement click here.
Don’t know where to start? T&M is here to help you estimate the settlement amounts for which your public water system may be eligible. Please fill out the form below and a member of our PFAS Action Team will contact you.
Or contact PFAS Team Leader, Cindy Jacobsen, at 614-402-2802 or cjacobsen@tandmassociates.com.
