Understanding Air Quality Hazards in Confined Spaces

Air quality is a critical but often misunderstood factor in confined space safety. While multigas meters are commonly used to detect oxygen levels, flammability, and certain gases, they don’t always reflect whether conditions are safe for worker health. It is important to use additional tools that detect key hazards, continuously monitor conditions, and approach every confined space with caution, even those that appear empty or inactive.
