NJ’s Affordable Housing Obligations

T&M is an established leader in assisting municipalities in navigating the State of New Jersey’s complex affordable housing regulations. Our Planning Group, which includes licensed Professional Planners (PP) and members of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP), has guided nearly 50 municipalities through the affordable housing planning process and has over 40 years of combined experience in this complex area of planning practice.

Our PPs have extensive experience, ranging from preparation of affordable housing plans and ordinances, participating in mediation sessions on behalf of municipalities, working with towns to determine how best to meet their affordable housing obligation while maintaining their existing development characteristics, and testifying as an Expert in Planning in New Jersey Superior Court.
