Recovery & Resilience: 10 Years After Superstorm Sandy

October 29 marks the 10th anniversary of Superstorm Sandy making landfall in New Jersey, which caused nearly $30 billion in damage in the state. The Borough of Union Beach was one of the hardest hit when the storm washed ashore.

In the most recent edition of NJ Municipalities Magazine, Mayor Cocuzza discusses the instrumental role that their Borough Engineer, T&M’s Dennis Dayback, had in its recovery and the measures that have been put in place to make the community more resilient today.
