Brookdale Community College Academic Building, Wall, NJ

Working at the direction of the College, T&M provided Construction Management Services for a new academic building at the Wall Township campus. Our responsibilities included daily project reports and photographic documentation in addition to assisting the College and the Architect of Record in all aspects of document review including payment applications and change order requests.

T&M facilitated critical communications among multiple parties – the College, Contractor, Architect, Township, County, and the Department of the Army due to the building’s location on a former army base. T&M’s role was also central to navigating project complexities related to existing utilities, fire department requests, and site soil conditions.

This project included a new three-story, 70,000 SF building with classrooms, laboratories, student space and administrative support areas. Site and utility improvements including traditional asphalt and porous paving surface parking lots, landscaping and utility services were also incorporated. All work was completed while the adjacent existing classroom building remained occupied.

T&M reported to the Brookdale Community College Facility Director providing a professional assessment, recommendations and guidance on project matters and decisions.

Our Project Manager’s hard work and dedication to the College on this project was recognized by the Vice President of Finance and Operations.
