Former “Under 40” Awardees Add Depth to T&M Leadership Team
Middletown, NJ – T&M Associates, a leading national consulting, environmental, engineering and construction management company, announced the promotions of Christine Ballard and Patrick Jeffery to Vice President. Both are past awardees of local programs honoring men and women under age 40 who have positively impact their field and who share a commitment to business growth, professional excellence and the community. Ballard was a recipient of ENR New York’s “Top 20 Under 40” award in 2015 and NJBiz’s “Forty Under 40” award in 2014 and Jeffery was a recipient of the South Jersey Biz “20 Under 40” award in 2016.
Christine Ballard, PE is a Vice President and Water Resources Practice Leader based in T&M’s Middletown, NJ office. Christine has proven herself a key player and leader not only at T&M, but in the expansive engineering field as well. At age 28, she was selected to serve as the City of Lambertville’s Municipal Engineer, making her one of the youngest appointed municipal engineers in New Jersey. Her design of Red Bank’s water treatment plant upgrade won a Municipal Project of the Year award from the New Jersey Society of Municipal Engineers. Ballard’s desire to cultivate and retain top talent at T&M drove her to establish T&M’s Young Professionals Group, an educational and leadership development program. She holds a Masters of Engineering Management and Masters of Systems Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Clemson University. Christine is a Licensed Professional Engineer in New Jersey.
Patrick Jeffery, PE, PP, CME is a Vice President and Operations Manager for T&M’s Toms River, NJ office. Since joining the company in 2010, he has exhibited exceptional leadership qualities and technical acuity while leading projects to design or improve major roadways, stormwater management systems, sanitary sewer systems, potable water systems and recreational facilities. In 2015, his project to improve water quality within the Barnegat Bay through the relocation of an outfall was presented with the Municipal Project of the Year award from the New Jersey Society of Municipal Engineers. He has served as President of the Monmouth County Society of Professional Engineers since 2013, and holds a Masters of Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in civil and environmental engineering from Virginia Tech. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer, Professional Planner and Certified Municipal Engineer in New Jersey.
