T&M Associates Selected as Partner for Clean Energy Program
Middletown, N.J. – T&M Associates has been selected as a partner in the NJ Clean Energy Pay for Performance Program. Part of New Jersey’s Clean Energy Program, the Pay for Performance Program, comprehensively addresses the energy efficiency needs of the commercial and industrial sector by working with participants, such as developers, building owners and their representatives, to improve energy efficiency of existing commercial and industrial buildings with an average annual peak demand of 200 kW or more.
As an approved partner, T&M will work closely with building owners to develop an Energy Reduction Plan to improve the energy efficiency of existing commercial, industrial and large multi-family buildings, and facilitate the installation of energy efficient measures.
Under New Jersey’s Clean Energy Program, commercial and industrial buildings are required to develop an Energy Reduction Plan to demonstrate the achievement of a previously defined energy performance target. Developing the Energy Reduction Plan, completing the improvements identified in the plan, and confirming that the performance target has been achieved will entitle the building owners to receive full CEP incentives and may entitle the building to receive an ENERGY STAR® performance indicator provided by the EPA.
“We are excited to be selected as a partner in this prestigious program,” said Kevin Toolan, President & CEO of T&M Associates. “As a leading environmental consulting firm, our engineers and planners have many years of experience dealing with issues related to improving energy efficiency. We’re honored to have been selected by the State to share that knowledge with building owners and developers.”
