T&M Associates Employees Are Honored by the ASCE
Middletown – Two T&M employees have been honored by the American Society for Civil Engineers (ASCE). Pete Singhofen, P.E., the current Secretary of the New Jersey section, has been named the incoming Vice President of the section for the 2009-2010 year. He was also president of the ASCE’s Central Jersey Branch during the 2008-2009 year. Diana Rodriguez has been named Young Members President of the Central Jersey Branch for the 2009-2010 year.
Diana Rodriguez is a staff designer at T&M’s Transportation Team. She has assisted on the design of a variety of structural systems including steel, concrete, wood, masonry, aluminum and fiber glass reinforced plastic for transportation structures and commercial buildings. Rodriguez has two years of experience in the field and specializes in structural and civil engineering.
Rodriguez, a Rahway resident, received her bachelor’s of science degree in civil engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in 2007. She is a member of the ASCE and is an engineer-in-training.
Pete Singhofen has 18 years of experience in the analysis, rehabilitation and design of bridges, buildings and foundations for various counties, state agencies, U.S. government as well as private sector projects. Singhofen is an expert in structural engineering and bridge design and inspection.
Singhofen, a Holmdel resident, received his bachelor’s of science in civil engineering from Widener University in 1991. He is a licensed professional engineer, completed the NHI Course in bridge inspection, received certification from Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians (SPRAT), and is a member of the American Concrete Institute and the ASCE.
