T&M’s Environmental Sciences team is responsible for the preparation of environmental permit applications required by state and Federal regulatory programs including New Jersey and Pennsylvania Departments of Environmental Protection, Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, New Jersey Pinelands Commission, New Jersey Highlands Council and Meadowlands Commission, USEPA, US Army Corps of Engineers, US Coast Guard, US Fish and Wildlife Service and National Marine Fisheries. Division personnel are responsible for the identification of environmentally sensitive features, delineation of wetlands and mitigation of wetlands impacts, and identification of environmental regulatory constraints on site development and mitigation of potential impacts.
The Division’s staff includes professionals in environmental sciences, environmental planning, environmental resource management and hydrogeology. Many hold certifications and licenses in their specialties. Training and continuing education are encouraged to ensure that skills are relevant and current to better serve our clients’ needs.
Our Environmental Sciences division also performs investigations and assessments conforming to state and Federal site remediation program requirements. It has successfully completed assignments in Brownfield redevelopment projects, and developed and directed the implementation of remedial action plans for site development projects. The Division is also responsible for the preparation of grant applications for funding from the NJDEP Hazardous Discharge Site Remediation Fund.
Division personnel have established strong relationships with regulatory agency personnel, gaining insight and awareness of the procedures that afford opportunity to expedite permitting processes. Our staff averages nearly 20 years of experience, and our capabilities have grown and evolved in response to the changes in regulations and technologies they have experienced.
